Wear Green with Jeans - PRESCHOOL CampusLet's share the luck of the Irish! In celebration of St. Patrick's Day, we would like to invite the Historic Anaheim Preschool students to wear green with jeans on Monday, March 18th. With this luck, we may have some possible leprechaun sightings!Summer Programs are Now Enrolling! -  PRESCHOOL and MAIN CampusHear Ye! Hear Ye! The Fairmont Summer Programs website is now LIVE and accepting applications for all the lords and ladies of the kingdom! Sign up before April 30th to receive a 10% discount on summer school and summer camp. The Calendar shows this date as a Minimum Day; however, the Historic Anaheim Campus will be open for a regular school day. School lunch will be available for purchase. Afternoon curbside service will be open for regular hours from 3:00 P.M. - 3:30 P.M. Be sure to check our Google calendar for any changes in our schedule. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and we appreciate your understanding.PRESCHOOL Campus-Please note: we will be celebrating our Spring Egg Hunts in the morning on March 29th. This will be a free dress day for students. If your child does not usually attend school on Fridays, PLEASE know that you and your child are welcome to attend this event! We ask that children attending the Spring Egg Hunt that are not usually students on Fridays be accompanied by an adult for their entire stay. Although school will be open for regular hours, students may go home after the party. Academics will be light on this day. Prep TEC Program Launch Gala - PRESCHOOL and MAIN CampusPlease join us at Fairmont Preparatory Academy on Thursday, March 28 from 6-8pm for a gala event to launch our new Prep TEC Program. We invite you to join us to hear all about our technology program, including the two years of research and professional development behind it. See the program in action by visiting our department-specific "classroom experiences." You'll be amazed at the ways our 1:1 iPad program will enhance student learning in every class, from calculus to P.E. This event is open to all Fairmont families, preschool-12th grade.

Students Advance to Orange County Science Fair
Samuel L. and Bryan N. show off their Best in Show awards from the Fairmont - Historic Anaheim Science Fair.
Next week, sixteen students from the Historic Anaheim Campus will be competing in the Orange County Science & Engineering Fair (OCSEF). The sixteen students were chosen to advance to the OCSEF based upon the scores they received at the Historic Anaheim Science Fair, which was held in February. These students received either Best in Show, Grand Prize, or First Place at the campus level. The OCSEF is held at the Orange County Fairgrounds. Students placing first and second at the OCSEF will advance to the California State Science Fair (CSSF) which is held in April at the California Science Center. While at the fair, students will need to present their project to judges. Presentations are an hour long and the number of judges can number up to 18. The OCSEF has up to 600 entries for it's two divisions, Junior (Grades 6-9) and Senior (Grades 10-12), from all over Orange County.
We wish our contestants the best of luck next week at the Science Fair.
