The Calendar shows this date as a Minimum Day; however, the Historic Anaheim Campus will be open for a regular school day. School lunch will be available for purchase. Afternoon curbside service will be open for regular hours from 3:00 P.M. - 3:30 P.M. Be sure to check our Google calendar for any changes in our schedule. If your child does not usually attend school on Fridays, PLEASE know that you and your child are welcome to attend this event! Students Advance to Orange County Science Fair

  Science Fair 2013
Samuel L. and Bryan  N. show off their Best in Show awards from the Fairmont - Historic Anaheim Science Fair.

Next week, sixteen students from the Historic Anaheim Campus will be competing in the Orange County Science & Engineering Fair (OCSEF). The sixteen students were chosen to advance to the OCSEF based upon the scores they received at the Historic Anaheim Science Fair, which was held in February. These students received either Best in Show, Grand Prize, or First Place at the campus level. The OCSEF is held at the Orange County Fairgrounds. Students placing first and second at the OCSEF will advance to the California State Science Fair (CSSF) which is held in April at the California Science Center. While at the fair, students will need to present their project to judges. Presentations are an hour long and the number of judges can number up to 18. The OCSEF has up to 600 entries for it's two divisions, Junior (Grades 6-9) and Senior (Grades 10-12), from all over Orange County.

We wish our contestants the best of luck next week at the Science Fair.
