Re-Enrollment News - PRESCHOOL and MAIN Campus Thank you to all families who have turned in their re-enrollment contracts to the office this week. Early enrollment allows us the opportunity to plan and facilitate the best educational experience possible for our students. Congratulations to Autumn B., this week's preschool winner of the re-enrollment drawing - giving the morning announcement over the PA system. Congratulations to Dr. and Mrs. Samuel Wosk, this week's elementary winner of the re-enrollment drawing - a $50 gift card to True Grits. Next Friday, February 22nd is the last day to turn in your re-enrollment contract for priority registration. On this day both campuses will hold a Re-Enrollment Reception. Please see the "Dates to Know" section for reception times.President's Day - No School - PRESCHOOL and MAIN CampusWe would like to remind you that we are honoring President's Day on Monday, February 18, 2013. Please note that SCHOOL is CLOSED and childcare will not be provided that day.Sweet Treat Friday - MAIN CampusThe FPA will hold their monthly Sweet Treat Friday, on Friday, February 22nd. This month the treat will be Jamba Juice. Students can pick from the following smoothies: Strawberry Wild, Mango A Gogo, or Peach Perfection. A 12 oz. smoothie will cost $3 and a 16 oz.smoothie will cost $4. Smoothie Descriptions (from the Jamba Juice Website):Mango A Gogo: We blend heaps of mangos and passion fruit-mango juice topped off with pineapple sherbet to make your dreams come true.Strawberries Wild: It's a little known fact that, in the wild, strawberries are drawn to bananas and frozen yogurt. Peach Perfection:The peach is very particular about her associates. Mangos, strawberries and two kinds of fruit juice ensure that she's always seen with the right people. Boys' Tri-Way Basketball Team Wins League Championship
The boys' Tri-Way team poses with their trophy!
The Boys' Tri-Way Basketball team, under the direction of Coach Barry Robinson, finished their regular season with an undefeated 9-0 record. To complete their undefeated season, they had to compete against such schools as Heritage Oak, Mission Hills, Pegasus, and six other schools in the Tri-Way league. After completing their regular season, the Panthers earned the top seed in the playoffs.
The playoffs began on Monday, February 4, when our boys took on Tarbut V'Torah (TVT) from Irvine at Fairmont's Preparatory Academy. The Historic Anaheim Panthers came out on top of TVT with a 60-24 win. The game was a consistent all-around effort. This win advanced the Panthers to the semi-finals.
The semi-final game took place on Tuesday, February 5. This time the opponent was Fairmont's Anaheim Hills campus. The Historic Anaheim Panthers breezed past the Anaheim Hills Cougars with a 36-16 win.
The win in the semi-finals launched the Panthers into the Tri-Way finals. The final game was played against Carden Hall from Newport Beach.The Panthers prevailed with an 84-48 win. The entire team played tough defense and were led by Trey S. and Levi H. on offense.
Additionally, Trey and Levi will represent Historic Anaheim at the Tri-Way All Star game which was held at Orangewood on Wednesday, February 13. Coach Barry represented the Historic Anaheim as he coached one of the All Star teams.
Congratulations to our Boys' Tri-Way Basketball team on their SECOND, CONSECUTIVE UNDEFEATED season! Way to go boys!
