Re-Enrollment News - PRESCHOOL and MAIN Campus Thank you to all families who have turned in their re-enrollment contracts to the office this week. Early enrollment allows us the opportunity to plan and facilitate the best educational experience possible for our students. Congratulations to Sydney W., this week's preschool winner of the re-enrollment drawing for giving the morning announcement over the PA system. Fairmont has partnered with the Scholar Search Associates to co-host this special event at Fairmont Preparatory Academy. Mister Lemur Encourages Students to Follow Their "Train of Thought"
The voices could be heard throughout the building, "If you have a body, then you're in the body band!" Kindergarten through fifth grade students delighted in singing the diddy led by Jen Hartvickson, co-author of Mister Lemur's Train of Thought. Jen and her husband Hans came to our campus to encourage students to use their imaginations and put the stories onto paper. The presentation went through the steps of creating a book. From creating a concept and illustrating the stories, all the way through to the actual printing of books. Each session finished with a rousing rendition of "Body Band" which is on the Adventures in Your Head CD by the Scheming Lemur's. Check out the Hartvickson's creations on their website.
