A Successful Table Affair

On Thursday, June 11th, Club M hosted its inaugural Table Affair fundraising dinner. The event was held at the Mount Pleasant High School. The keynote speaker for the evening was V.J. Smith, Author of "The Richest Man in Town" who was sponsored by the Mount Pleasant Kiwanis.  Our dinner was catered by the Indian Hills Culinary Institute with food generously donated by the Mount Pleasant Hy-Vee.

A motivational conversation as sparked by V.J. Smith who encouraged us to be grateful to one another and always say "thank you".

AmeriCorps VISTA Goodbye

Hello Everyone,

My name is Chelsea White and for the 2014-2015 school year, I served as the AmeriCorps VISTA for Iowa Wesleyan College and Club M. I have had the privilege of working with some of the amazing youth in Henry County and I hope that they go on to do great things. I have also had the responsibility of drafting these newsletters over the past year. This is my last one before my time with the program ends and I just wanted to thank all of you for your continued support of Club M. I know that it will go on to positively impact the lives of youth in Southeast Iowa for many years to come.

Thank you, Chelsea White
