Club M Policy Changes
Safety is a number one priority here at Club M. We are implementing a few new policies that will start this week.
1. In Mt. Pleasant, Club M begins at 3:30. If a mentor, mentee or parent arrives prior to the 3:20 dismissal bell, they must wait in the middle school office. A mentor must always sign in at the office and wear a Club M badge the entire time they are present at the school.
2. If you find you are unable to attend Club M, please try to text Cassie prior to noon on Wednesday. Please include your name in your text!
3. All activities will take place in the cafeteria of the middle school unless the Program Coordinator gives permission to play in the tennis court/grassy area. The side door to the cafeteria will not be propped open and mentor matches should not be playing in the hallway. The cafeteria doors leading to the hallway will be closed during Club M so that we can properly supervise the program participants.
4. Prior to a mentor leaving the building at the end of Club M, the mentor is to ensure that their mentee has permission to walk home or walk the mentee to program staff who can ensure they are picked up by a parent/caregiver. This will help us to make sure that the children are safely returned to the appropriate caregiver.
