Fighting Cabin Fever
As February rolls around, most of us are ready for spring. The kids have extra energy from being cooped up indoors for most of the winter. Here are some fun activities that we can do to use up some of that pent up energy:
1. Provide opportunities for vigorous physical activity.
2. Look for indoor and outdoor winter sports.
3. Put together a creative arts and crafts kit.
4. It is a great time to start a new hobby.
5. Visit your local library.
6. Turn off the video games...have a family game night
7. Bake together.
8. Visit some of our local museums. They are listed on
the left side of this newsletter!
