The Grand Reopening Celebration!
|
Join us Friday for a spectacular celebration in the Downtown store, the Healthy Connections building, and Co-op Bakery Cafe. If you haven't been to the Co-op since the renovations were finished, stop by to see what all the fuss is about. Wowza!
The party is free! Everyone is welcome!
Party in the store (5:30-8:30 pm)-- Oodles of tempting food and drink tastings, book signing with Tom Malterre of Whole Life Nutrition, Stay Well Basket Raffle from the Co-op wellness department, and Co-op gift card giveaways. Two Downtown Art Walk extravaganzas (6-10 pm)-- In the store: paintings by Ben Mann; jazz from Kid'Sax Ensemble (5:45-6:45 pm) and smooth blues from Blues Union (7-10 pm); wine and food tastings. In the Health Connections Building classroom (across the street from the store): photography by Peter James; bluesy ukulele and sultry vocals by Bailey Ann Martinet (6-8 pm) and intricately woven solo guitar by Robert T. McDonald III (8-10 pm); wine and finger food. Latte Art Throwdown (8-10 pm): See whose latte art reigns supreme. Watch local baristas in action or throw down your latte skills and participate (sign up closes at 8:10 pm). The top three baristas will take home one of these lovely prize packages and, of course, bragging rights!
In the Co-op Bakery Cafe (across the street from the store).
