Join us at the Cordata store for Appreciation Day! noon to 3 pm Saturday, October 10
Everyone is welcome to join in the fun.
The Co-op bakery will treat us to tasty scratch-baked goodies from our sparkling new bakery kitchen. Co-op produce department will host the ever-popular, ample apple sampling (try saying that 10 times fast!), and this year it will be accompanied by the bakery's luscious caramel sauce for dipping! Not to be outdone, the deli will be sampling their scratch-made spreads.
So far, we've also lined up these awesome vendors to dish out more yummy samples:
We'll also be treated to the superlative musical talents of Blues by Two, chair massages, and occasional small prizes throughout the afternoon.
October is Co-op Month and we'll be celebrating all month long.
Co-op Member Owners can enter our Appreciation Prize Drawing (through Oct. 31) for a chance to win one of four $75 gift cards. Entry boxes in both stores.
During the month we also want your nominations for the Cooperator Awards. Learn more about the awards in our stores and nominate a deserving person (or two) today.
The Co-op truly appreciates all of our member-owners every day of every month!

"Re-imagining Whealth"
A TEDxWWU Talk by Art Sherwood
Business and the nonprofit world are not mutually exclusive. In the theory presented by Dr. Art Sherwood, David Cole Professor of Entrepreneurship in the College of Business and Economics at Western Washington University, there is an intersection between a focus on wealth and a focus on social health. His talk helps describe how to find that sweet spot that he calls "Whealth."
