Whenever, wherever there is a counterfeit; it only proves the presence, existence of "an authentic" or "a genuine". Money has been grossly abused in churches, and by churches. But not talking about money's rightful place, being afraid to talk about money's rightful place in our lives... from a Biblical, New Covenant-Grace point of view... is not going to help or solve anything; but rather, further propagate the hurts, confusion, fears and distrust caused by the exploitation and mismanagement of money. Moses wrote, "Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn." Apostle Paul later writes in the New Covenant, and under the inspiration of the Spirit of Grace, "For it is written in the law of Moses, thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?" Apostle Paul also writes unto Timothy, his spiritual son in the faith, "Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. For the scripture saith, thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward." Throughout the Scriptures, the "ox" represents the true, Five-Fold Ministry of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. Throughout the Scriptures, "corn" represents the revelations in connection with... and that proceed from... the Finished Work of Christ's Cross. In
The Parable of the Two Prodigal Sons, the "fatted calf" (really rendered, "the fattened ox") signifies the real-deal, Five-Fold Ministry and their rightful place in our Father's House. They are called to be bond-servants (though they be sons), and are enabled by the Father to help "trigger" the "appearing," "coming," "parousia" or "manifestation" of the Great Mystery:
"Christ in you, the hope of glory." They are worthy of their reward or hire...
Matthew 24: 42-51 (KJV)
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. 45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. 48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; 49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; 50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. James 5: 1-9 (KJV) 1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. 2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. 3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. 4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth. 5 Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter. 6 Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you. 7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. 8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. 9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.
Malachi 4: 1-3 (KJV)
1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. 2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. 3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts.
Luke 6: 1, 2 (KJV) 1 And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands. 2 And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days?
