"Amused & Entertained... OR, Made & Kept Free... by the Truth??"

The Church loves to be amused and entertained with the Truth, as a hobby; that is, of course, until the Truth hits too close to home, until the Truth becomes too uncomfortable and inconvenient. Yet, it is the Truth that makes and keeps us free, from being enslaved to and serving the memories of our past (the old man); makes and keeps us free, to draw from and experience the Life within, and in one another. True love doesn't just talk, it actually provides for (nourishes)... and protects (cherishes)... the object of its desire, as do the individual members of the Bride with (and toward) each another; whereas, the Harlot wants all of the "benefits" of Marriage... but without the Covenant Commitment, Responsibility & Accountability... as do the individual members of the Harlot with (and toward) one another, and others. The "Bear-attribute" of the anti-christ spirit talks "perfection"... talks "completion"... talks "resurrection life"... talks "fullness" (thank the Word-of-Faith Movement for this one!)... knows how to say all of the right things; but walks contrary, keeping its heart open unto other options or possibilities to serve itself (personal gain, advantage), while choosing to remain all wrapped up in its own individual, little world. The Bride provides for, and protects, each other; the Harlot takes everything possible, while contributing nothing.
Proverbs 23: 23 (KJV) 23 Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding. 2 Thessalonians 2: 10b, 11 (KJV) 10 ...because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved [*from themselves, from their own self-righteousness]. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 1 Timothy 3: 14, 15 (KJV) 14 These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly: 15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. 2 Timothy 4: 4 (KJV) 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables [*"fiction" or "fantasy"]. Revelation 13: 2 (KJV) 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. Daniel 7: 5 (KJV) 5 And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. Ephesians 5: 29, 30 (KJV) 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
