"Third Day: The Focus Shifts"

God never established a monetary value of things, in the Garden; self-condemned, sin-conscious-driven men, suffering from an identity crisis, did that after Adam's fall.  Then, we have the audacity to say, "It's all God's money."  So, where did He print it?  Where does His Name and signature appear on our money?  Contrary to popular "church culture" belief and opinion, money is important; because, like words and actions, it is a revealer of the heart.  Next to the kingdom of God, Jesus addressed money and possessions more than almost anything else; because He is not stupid, knowing full well what men's hearts are attached to... what men's hearts trust in.  Money is not evil, the love of it is the root of all evil.  Does anyone know why the love of money is the root of all evil?  In our country (United States), we love and worship money; the power and control that we feel money can give us over our own lives, and over others... including, over one another.  We really don't love the Lord, much less know Him, and it shows in our lack of love toward one another; that is, unless of course, we feel that we can capitalize off of one another, or take advantage of one another.  Today, selfish men and women (even in ministry) continue to look toward building for themselves a kingdom, which bears their own name... the name of blasphemy, which "diminishes" or "decreases" the Name of Jesus Christ.  We are on the verge of the Third Day, the third one-thousand year period since Jesus Christ's death and resurrection.  On the Third Day, the focus shifts from, "Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures today and tomorrow," unto, "...and the third day I shall be perfected."  Every time Jesus teaches of "perfection" it is always regarding the love of our Heavenly Father being brought to maturity in us; first and foremost toward one another as brethren, and then toward the whole rest of the world.  For two-thousand years, now, the Church has been enamored with casting out devils, and doing cures... signs, wonders, healings, miracles, revivals and "moves" of God; but we have known very little of the love of our Heavenly Father, which is precisely why we continue to treat one another like garbage... except when it isn't convenient for us to do so.

1 John 2: 6; 3: 13-16 (KJV)
He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
