CVEP & CViHub Visit Team CA 
This past week Joe Wallace, Executive Director of the CViHub and Kyle Wagner, Assistant Director of the CViHub, attended Team California's Annual Meet the Consultants Forum in Monterey, where they met with national and international Site Location Consultants all running current projects in California. As a sponsor of this event CVEP had the opportunity to promote the Coachella Valley as well as meet with site selectors to discuss locations for future projects and learn how our area can become more competitive. Site selector and speaker Rajeev Thakur stated that the key to California's business retention, expansion, and attraction is access to markets and talent. Headline speaker Robert Hess, said the key for successful economic development is to know your regional attributes and leverage them. CVEP focuses much attention on marketing these points.
The CViHub team also visited one of California's other iHub programs, iGATE iHub in Livermore, CA. Joe and Kyle were able to meet with some of their clients, tour facilities and discuss best practices between two of the State's top iHub programs.
