Inaugural LanzaTech a Success

Over the past six weeks CVEP, through the Small Business Development Center (CVSBDC), partnered with valley business service providers targeting Hispanic business owners and entrepreneurs in a business workshop series called "LanzaTech".  With nearly 250 participants in these Spanish/English language workshops designed to assist business owners in growing their business, increasing profitability and gaining access to capital.  The December 1st finale featured key-note speaker Antonio Lopez Espinoza, owner of Capacyte, a marketing consulting and event planning company in Mexicali.  The Saturday workshop also included special guests, Assemblyman V. Manuel Perez and Riverside County Supervisor John J. Benoit.  The success of this program was made possible through the generous support of KUNA TV/La Poderosa 96.7FM, Coachella Valley Women's Business Center, and many more.  "We are very pleased that LanzaTech in this inaugural workshop series, reached business owners across the Valley and beyond," said Ezekiel Bonillas, Director of the CVSBDC.  "We look forward to working with many more business owners and entrepreneurs at the next LanzaTech series slated for spring of 2013."
