CVEP ROI
CVEP reports quarterly ROI to the Executive Committee and reports cumulative results to the Board of Directors and Investors. This reporting went into effect in July 2011 when the Coachella Valley Jobs/Workforce Model was officially introduced. This unique model is CVEP's collective strategy with all of its programs to help companies grow their year-round job base of the region and to develop a trained and educated workforce for those jobs.

Palm Springs City Council has voted to provide facilities and seed money to build an accelerator campus near the airport. CVEP and the CViHub hope to emulate the success of other high tech research and science centers. Read more about this exciting development right here in the Coachella Valley in last week's issue of The Public Record.

CVEP Scholar Commissioned as Official Artist
A great example of the Coachella Valley Jobs/Workforce Model in action is the recent commissioning of a local student artist by a local community association. While remodeling their complex they engaged CVEP to find young artists to display works of art in their community. CVEP Scholarship recipient, Roberto Velasquez was commissioned to be the primary artist for all the artwork. "It is a great feeling to know that the community is not only supporting my educational goals, but also helping me find employment opportunities," said Roberto Velasquez. "Eventually I want to become an animator and return to the valley to help other students reach their dreams as well." Read more....
