My Art My Way

Residency Program

VSAFL is pleased to announce the start of the 2013-14 My Art My Way school residency program. ESE directors will receive the application packet to select TWO classes in their county to participate in this opportunity.

Residency programs provide a skilled teaching artist to work hands-on with students of varying abilities for 8 one hour sessions. The teaching artist plans with the classroom teacher to develop lessons relating to the classroom's curriculum and correlate to the state standards. In 2012-13 VSAFL coordinated 163 residency programs in 60 counties reaching 2064 students.
