Many can be thrown together at the last minute, should you find yourself in need of emergency presents.
 




Qualified Supervisor Workshop for Clinicians - CEs Offered

FIU Center for Children and Families hosts this two-day 16-hour supervisory workshop to assist clinicians in meeting the requirements of a Qualified Supervisor in Florida. The workshop takes place Feb. 22 and March 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. both days at FIU's Main Campus, College of Education, ZEB 325 (Dean's Conference Room)and is intended for LMHC, LCSW, LMFT and Psychologists who want to provide supervision to registered interns. The Niagara in Miami Child and Teen Mental Health Conference

The conference, which takes place March 6-8, 2013, focuses on evidence-based approaches to child and adolescent mental health. Up to 18 continuing education contact hours can be earned for a variety of disciplines. Reduced rates are available for The Children's Trust providers. Christmas is a time that fills most families with ho ho ho, but for families of children with special needs, there can be some uh uh oh! thrown in there too.
