 Happy New Year 2015 !
Shades, draperies, shutters, motorization and more!
Stunning, custom window treatments for your home at very competitive prices!

Greetings!

Thank you to my wonderful clients and those precious folks who referred clients to me for another terrific year at Vision Window Dcor.   It is so exciting to be heading into the 10th year of business ~ the anniversary will be in December of 2015, so how shall we celebrate ??  Your suggestions are welcome.

I look forward to embracing another wintery season here in New England.  Many clients will be using their new window treatments to reduce the cold drafts ~ one of the reasons for the abundance of shutter and roman shade photos below, perhaps?

Wishing you a cozy, healthy, happy and bountiful New Year !!

Cheers,
Jane Wallace

Marshfield Hills Antique Home

Before
After

This antique home near the General Store in Marshfield Hills is receiving the TLC it deserves from its owners.   Preserving the architectural elements in an older home is sometimes a challenge, but the character is irreplaceable.

Before
After

Did I mention "challenge"?  Each of these shutters required super custom craftsmanship done so expertly by Rich Kenney, professional shutter installer.  If you look closely, you may see the wedges designed to  accommodate the drop from the outside edges of the lower window frames to the inside edges of the caf shutters.  And on the full shutter, notice the modification of the shutter to adapt to the sagging arch in the top of the antique window frame that Rich so beautifully customized.

Duxbury Condo Home

Entering this condo, one is greeted with creamy white draperies hung on drapery hardware stain-matched to the dining table ~ just the right touch to complement the beautiful antique furnishings and artwork in this room.

"We reached out to Jane following a renovation project - we were still working on our vision for the space which is what made working with Jane so great as she brings everything to you! She listened to us, picked up on what we liked and provided great suggestions. Jane has a keen eye, is creative and patient working with her clients from walking through possibilities, working with her clients on their selection all the way through installation. We were so pleased with Jane following our initial project that we reached out to her again following another project. Jane provides great selections with product options to fit different tastes and budgets. We highly recommend Jane. "   ~ Cohasset Home Owners

Hingham Bay

Designed, built and decorated by the very talented Heritage House Design Team of Jim & Karin, this strikingly gorgeous home with full views of Hingham Bay is a stunner.  The home owners asked for ideas on how best to control the glare from the skylights and they loved the shutter concept.  With remote control, the shutter louvers can be easily adjusted for different light at various times of the day ~ perfect solution.

A client testimonial...

"Working with Jane on window treatments throughout our apartment was a pleasure from beginning to end. It started with convenience: she came to our home ready to find out who we are, to listen to what we want, and to make suggestions to turn our ideas into window treatments that reflect our personalities and taste.

For us, facing too many choices can easily be overwhelming. Knowing this, Jane did not dump out all her samples at once but pulled out the ones that seemed most relevant, adding more as time went on to respond to our preferences. She did not rush us; her advice was helpful but not pushy; she truly wanted the choices to be ours, and for us to be happy with them.

When we placed the order for drapes and shades, we were satisfied that we'd made good choices. And when the finished products arrived, we were thrilled. Everything is carefully and beautifully made, down to the last detail.

The installation took most of the afternoon, and when it was finished, the place was transformed. The carpenter here at the Village at Duxbury has admired the installation, saying that the work is one of the most professional jobs he has seen. We just think it's gorgeous.

I encourage anyone who is ready for custom window treatments to contact Jane Wallace at Vision Window Dcor. I think you'll be glad you did.

I'd do it again in a heartbeat! I'd also be glad to talk with prospective customers, if that would be helpful."
