Increasing Access to Drinking Water
| | |
ASTPHND is working with the CDC Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity and Obesity (DNPAO) to develop a project with state health agencies on CDC's strategy of increasing access to drinking water.
To help us with the project, we would like to know if you or your colleagues in your state health department are working to increase access to drinking water, or if you are contemplating working in this area. If so, we would like to hear from you. Please contact Joan Atkinson.
We will conduct interviews in April with state nutritionists working to increase access to drinking water. Our primary aim is to determine state health departments' role in increasing access to drinking water in a variety of settings. We will use the information we gather in these interviews to develop products to assist state health departments in their work on this strategy.
