There has been a lot of positive news about in-plants this last quarter. With RSA's help, GASC, presenter of Graph Expo, created programming and education for in-plants at the show. A healthy in-plant environment benefits everyone in the space. Many in-plants are adding WebCRD, RSA's web to print to increase efficiencies and benefit their parent organizations. New WebCRD Enhanced Book Assembly Module
In October, we launched a new release of WebCRD (9.2). Part of the release is a module for enhanced book assembly. Recently a K-12 customer demonstrated the capability to three district curriculum administrators whom where "...blown away by the ability to build custom textbooks/workbooks." This in-plant envisions become the "textbook" printer for all of their schools, ensuring their viability and saving the district thousands of dollars. This approach also helps ensure the in-plant gets budget dollars to add the module.

In-Plant Leaders Share Why They Won't Close at Graph Expo- See the video
At Graph Expo, in-plant leaders from four verticals shared their reasons for success and answered questions submitted from in-plants. One of the questions we asked this panel was "How are you demonstrating strategic value to the organization so that closing your print center is not an option?" Valuable Budget Tips from an In-Plant Leader
This month we introduced a new way for in-plants to quickly and
easily learn about key topics from other in-plant leaders. Called "In-Plant Print Leader Chat," we started this new in-plant bi-monthly call, exclusively for in-plant managers, to "meet" informally, with a different print center manager leading a particular topic each session. Listen to the November "In-Plant Budgeting, Financials and talking to Finance" session recording, led by Gene Voelker, Manager Supply Chain Business Services at Parkview Health in Fort Wayne, IN.
