Ice Carving Company looking for Lead Carver/Production Manager in North Carolina.The lead sculptor is responsible to create all sculptures and ensure raw ice block production. This includes the creation of all new/custom designs per customer request, as well as the continued creation of current sculptures. Additionally, the lead sculptor is responsible for the general maintenance of the studio and general tool maintenance. Computer skills are a must! As the lead sculptor, you must be able to operate and maintain the CNC machine as well as learn the CAD software that operates the CNC machine. In addition to the previously mentioned criteria, the lead sculptor is responsible to teach and mentor employees and lead sculpting classes. The lead sculptor/production manager also maintains weekly production and delivery schedules ensuring every sculpture is made and delivered on time and there are enough employees scheduled each day to fulfill the necessary production goals and marketing requirements.Contact Ryan at Masterpiece Ice- masterpieceice@earthlink.net Ice Carvers Boot Camp is a unique opportunity to learn and hang out with fellow ice carvers in November. All 24 "Hands On" spots are filled, however we do have some space for "Civilian" participants. Civilians have access to watching the coaches challenge, workshops, food, and campfire.
