Adventures in Wine Country

Greetings from Wine Country RV Park!

Happy October!!

September was a month not to forget. The week of Balloon Rally started off with rain, but by Friday the sun was out and so were the balloons. We had another sold out Balloon Rally Weekend here at Wine Country RV Park that started with an amazing BBQ catered by Country Gentleman. Musician Dale G Brown entertained everyone with his great selection of music During the BBQ.

We are also looking forward to October as the local wineries celebrate Harvest Season. Many of the local wineries have special Grape Stomping Events that you can participate in. Prosser will also be introducing their new Beer & Whiskey Festival Event scheduled for October 11th.

Manager's Corner

As September comes to an end we are thankful for a great Balloon Rally weekend.  We had wonderful weather for the event and many guests in the park along with all of our Dry Campers. It was great to see some repeat guests and meet new ones in Prosser for the first time.  This year we sponsored a Balloon which in turn gave us the opportunity to give 2 of our VIP customers a Hot Air Balloon ride at daybreak on Saturday.  Joyce and Jim Draper visited our park the most in the past 2 years so they were awarded the ride.  It was a fun filled weekend for everyone.

Now we look to October which brings in the cooler nights and falling leaves.  There are still some great events in October here in Prosser that we have to offer.  The Crush weekend is filling up fast so call and get your reservations in soon.  This year a new event on the same weekend will take place "The Beer and Whiskey Festival" will be held October 11th.

So come to Prosser, hook up that RV, get that fire pit ready, toast some marshmallows and settle in for some relaxation.  We will be waiting for you!
