Christmas Trees on the Farm at Bill's Berry Farm

Begin your family's Christmas preparations with a trip to the farm for a fresh cut Christmas tree. The fun begins Thanksgiving weekend and continues into December!

Our park looks absolutely stunning decked in hundreds of fresh cut trees, scores of beautiful handmade wreaths and garlands, and oodles of twinkling Christmas lights. Place an order for a custom wreath or length of garland and we'll make it while you watch.

Enjoy a caroling hayride around the farm for a donation to a local charity, pet our goats Max and Millie, sip a cup of hot cocoa or hot cider by the bonfire, and try a delicious vanilla sugar donut (Farm Wife Julie's absolute favorite flavor!)

Photo opportunities abound, so bring your camera and take your Christmas card photo at our farm! Come start a new family tradition at Bill's Berry Farm!

Easy Recipe by Nick

 No-Bake Fudgy Snow Balls

I have to admit that when I think of Christmas, I think of all the wonderful things to eat, especially sweet goodies! Keeping calories down and enjoying these foods seem to never fit in the same sentence. With this simple recipe, you can indulge and not look like a  Snow Man!

Servings: 21 * Serving Size: 1 cookie  Calories: 69.5 * Fat: 3.8 g  Carb: 9.2 g  Fiber: 2.2 g  Protein: 2.1 g

Ingredients:

  • 15 pitted dates
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup whole roasted unsalted almonds
  • 1 tbsp honey (agave if vegan)
  • 2 tbsp water (or more if needed)
  • 3 tbsp confectioner's sugar

Directions:

Add almonds to your food processor and pulse until ground. Add dates, cocoa powder, honey, and water. Mix until it forms a sticky mass. If it seems too dry, add a little water, 1 tsp at a time. Wash hands and using damp hands (keep sink running) measure 1 tbsp and roll into a ball with the dough. Set balls on parchment paper.

Put confectioner's sugar in a bowl. Roll balls in your hand and then roll in sugar.
Can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
