Meet Bandit; all he wants for Christmas is a new home
Bandit was found several months ago in Phoenix. He is very affectionate and playful. Bandit loves to be held and scratched under his chin; he's also been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Now, all Bandit wants is a home for the holidays.

Give the Gift of Free Spay & Neuter and Save Lives
Friends of Animal Care and Control ("Friends") raises money to provide FREE spay and neuter surgeries to low-income residents of Maricopa County. The largest program of its kind in the United States, Friends relies on the generosity of individuals who have a heart for animals to help curb our community's massive pet overpopulation problem. Sadly, Maricopa County's shelter intake is the second worst in the nation, following Los Angeles County.
Your important end of year tax deductible gift will make a big difference by helping fund over 5,000 surgeries in 2013; which prevents hundreds of unwanted puppies and kittens from ending up in Valley shelters.
CLICK HERE to learn more about Friends, or to make a donation (either one-time, or recurring). Please consider becoming a monthly donor in 2013 - for only $18/month, you can make a difference and prevent hundreds of animals from ending up in area shelters.
Thank you again for giving the "Gift of Love" this holiday season; your donation is appreciated! |

Fun Pet Fact:
- Did you know that only 50% of cats respond to catnip? Apparently it's an inherited sensitivity.
When given to the right cat, catnip can cause an amazing reaction! The cat will rub it, roll over it, kick at it, and generally go nuts for several minutes.
Catnip is safe and the effects are short lived, so the cat will quickly lose interest and walk away. Two hours later, the cat may come back and have exactly the same fun response. | |
