 Wine Review Online 92 Points Angel's Secret Petite Sirah is "dark as the night" and boasts savory aromas of ripe, dark berries (blackberry, boysenberry and raspberry), violets, and ripe plum, with a hint of roast game and spice. Abundant fruit flavors in this well-structured wine are nicely integrated with toasted oak and a touch of black licorice. A small amount of Merlot was added to soften the Petite Sirah and add complexity, without taking away from the varietal character of wine. It has great weight on the palate, but the tannins are certainly approachable in this well- balanced wine, with a long, pleasing finish. Drink now through 2016.

*this wine is made by doing whole berry fermentation in small oak cask. The end of the cask is opened and filled with grapes and then resealed. Then the barrels are rolled back and forth on tracks during the whole berry barrel fermentation. The resulting wine is truly amazing and there is no other wine in the world that I have heard of that is made in this labor intensive way. The resulting wine is truly worth the effort and it is a bargain to boot!

Rich, dense and suave, with a cherry cola quality to the ripe dark fruit and herbal flavors. Finishes long and very clean, with rising, slightly drying tannins, but there's so much fruit here that the tannins don't dominate. This richer, riper style of Rosso may have been just a little too extracted, but I think it will have quite a few fans. "

93 Points Decanter Decanter - "Many of the Chardonnay vines date back to 1946, or have come from budwood of those oldest vines. This has a hint of reduction on the initial nose that gives it a true Burgundian character. Grapes have been hand-picked at night since the 2007 vintage, then whole- cluster pressed and aged in French oak barrels. This is rich and round in the mid-palate, with streaks of crème brulée and candied lemon, but twists of lemon-lime on the finish. Great value for this level of quality.
