I love finding delicious White Burgundy at fantastic prices! Located in the Māconnais region in France, the vines grow in clay, limestone, and fossilized seashells, which makes this white very distinctive. Vibrant apple and pear aromas with an enticing minerality underneath, it leads into green apple and white peach flavors, with excellent balance and lively fruit through the nice balanced finish. Leaves you begging for another sip. Bring on the grilled shrimp or seared scallops, quiche, pasta in a light butter and cream sauce! Drink now to 2018.

This is an incredible buy! Delicious blend of Grenache and Syrah! It offers richness and depth in the vintage and gives up loads of red raspberry and red currant with rich medium bodied flavors and hint of spice with lovely balanced tannins. It is drinking nicely now and will improve over the next 7-8 years in bottle. This is a fantastic value!

Wine Spectator 91 Points "Gorgeous warm cocoa, ganache and expresso notes lead the way followed by macerated fig, blackberry paste and warm plum sauce flavors. Dense and loamy through the finish. Shows impressive density for the vintage. Drink now to 2026. Don't miss out on this great buy on a delicious Chateauneuf that is ready to drink but will also age nicely. " Drink now through 2020.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 93 Points " A blend of 75% Grenache and the rest equal parts Syrah and Mourvedre, the 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes, while not as full and powerful as the 2010, is a very strong effort for the vintage. It possesses lots of fruit, full-bodied richness, and impressive concentration as well as purity. It should drink well for a decade." Laurent Brotte continues to take this historic negociant firm to higher and higher heights in Chateauneuf du Pape. No doubt the hiring of Philippe Cambie several years ago has aided in this dramatic improvement. My recent tastings here revealed very good 2011s and 2010s, the latter perhaps being the finest vintage I have yet tasted from Brotte." This is a top level Chateauneuf at a ridiculous price!
