Atalon's Napa Valley Pauline's Cuvee is a powerful Merlot and Cabernet Franc blend inspired by the strength of Atalon's matriarch, Pauline Banke. This Meritage is crafted in the style of the Right Bank wines of Bordeaux, this cuvee is sourced from exclusive vineyard sites throughout Napa Valley-including the Stagecoach Vineyard on Atlas Peak and the Coombsville Vineyard in the recently designated Coombsville appellation-and reveals a taste of the region's majestic geology. This serious red offers subtle aromas and flavors of dark cherry, plum and current with fully integrated sweet oak, spice, toast and tobacco. This is a smooth wine, with a soft, complex entry that leads into a palate of great depth and balance. Drink now to 2022.

Don't miss this fantastic Value Red! Our wholesaler found some more of this wine that many of you bought before and loved! This is a tasty blend of 71 % Zinfandel, 20% Merlot and 9% Syrah.  Grapes came from select parcels in Amador, Lodi and Central Coast.  The wine was aged in 1 and 2-year-old French oak barrels for 24 months, adding richness and complexity not normally seen at this price. There were only 400 cases produced. It offers lovely blackberry and vanilla aromas, medium bodied, rich textured fruit flavors have blackberry and luscious vanilla notes with a hint of spice all perfectly balanced and woven together on the lingering finish. This wine is great on its own and will pair with pizzas, pasta dishes, from Fettuccine Alfredo to Bucatini alla Carbonara. A pasta musta!
