Finca Venta D. Quijote  

The winery is located in the town of El Toboso which has a rich and fertile history. The Finca Venta Don Quijote was mentioned in a book written by Cervantes in 1605 during a chapter in which the infamous Don Quijote was knighted. Although the vineyards do not date back as far as 1605 they have a long and illustrious history.

During the mid 20th century the vineyards had become neglected and run down until they were bought by the current owners in 1997. There then followed a huge investment program in both the vineyards and the production methods to create one of the largest privately owned wineries in Spain.

Wine production started in 2006 and a truly unique range was created blending the traditions of the area with a very modern style. The winemaking is led by Paco Granados one of the most respected wine makers in Spain who has spent decades honing his skills across the country.  The wines are amazing values!
