Stepfamilies have special rules of engagement that are different from nuclear families; understanding these developmental stages along with appropriate expectations and boundaries goes a long way toward creating a harmonious and successful family life.  At Kids First, we have been listening to kids for years and will share what kids wish adults knew about stepfamilies.  

This workshop is designed to benefit adults living in a stepfamily situation, as well as mental health or legal practitioners working with stepfamilies, but is not a replacement for the Kids First Program for Stepparents.
