Kids First Program for Stepparents
Saturday, August 9, 2014, Portland
- 4-hour Saturday workshop designed to help parents in stepfamilies understand the normal transitions experienced by each person in the new family, including the children
- participants will learn ways to ease the process so that each family member may have their needs met and can grow to feel comfortable in their new roles and relationships
- prior attendance in a Kids First Program is helpful but not required
- parents do not need to be married to attend
