 April 2014 Newsletter

It was great to see so many chamber members at the State of the Town networking event Tuesday morning. Special thanks to our speakers, Town Manager, Adam Chapdelaine and Economic Development Planner, Ted Fields for briefing members on what the town is doing to stay on track financially and to promote local business. This month's Women's Networking & Breakfast event featured Christine Penney of Something Sweet Without Wheat. She told the inspiring story of how baking gluten free goods to help her son Joe eventually led to a successful business. Attendees of the event also enjoyed the gluten free goodies Christine brought. Videos of both events will be posted on the Chamber's Youtube Channel soon.

Spring is a great time for refocusing and changing things around a bit. I am pleased to announce that the Board of Directors elected three new members at the March meeting. Louis Sampson of American Alarm & Communications, Sara Rizzari of Brightview Arlington and Derek Curran, Arlington Boys & Girls Club will bring their experience and ideas to make the chamber a more vibrant organization. Click here to see the entire Board.

As always, if you have any suggestions or comments, feel free to email or call me. I hope to see you soon at an upcoming event.

Best,

Jenn
