Greetings!
2014 has only just started and there have already been several changes at the Chamber. Maureen Gormley has stepped down as the chamber's bookkeeper and Executive Committee member to spend more time on her practice. Fortunately for us, she is staying on the Board of Directors. Liz McKersie, owner of AlphaQuickbooks is the chamber's new bookkeeper. She can be reached at billing@arlcc.org to answer your billing questions.
Additionally, Dick Moskow, who has prepared the chamber's tax returns for many years, is semi-retiring and passing his duties to Walter Fey CPA . Tess Hartwell of Flavour Strategy, has volunteered to be the Chairperson of the Events Committee. Tess brings years of marketing and event experience to the table and has some wonderful ideas for 2014. Lastly, Paul Kent, who has been the chamber's representative for the Traffic Advisory Committee the past three years, has passed the baton to new member, John Hurd.
Thank you to Maureen, Dick and Paul for your years of service to the chamber. Thanks also to Liz, Walter, Tess and John for volunteering to keep the chamber connected and vibrant. The chamber truly is only as good as the members that are active in it.
