Greetings! Summer is finally here! The Chamber is kicking it off with the return of the Summer Concert Series on the Green, featuring Karen K & the Jitterbugs on Wednesday, June 19th. The concert begins at 6:30 PM in front of the Jefferson Cutter House. Stop by the Farmer's Market for a bite to eat or purchase food from Flora or The Savory Plate on the green. Bring a blanket or chair and sit back and relax, or bring your dancing shoes and join the fun. The concerts are generously sponsored by Leader Bank. I will be giving out free instruments to the first 20 kids under 10, so come early before they are gone!
Please take a few minutes to check out the upcoming events, our newest members and our member announcements, including three Grand Openings!

Great no-cost marketing for restaurant owners, food and beverage businesses in Arlington
Grow your visibility to new customers from Arlington and beyond at neutral cost to you. Arlington Community Education's four-color catalog is mailed to 24,000 residences in Arlington and surrounding communities. We partner with local restaurants and food and beverage businesses to offer single-session cooking and beverage demonstrations at either our classroom kitchen at Arlington High or your own location. Past classes included sausage making with Tryst chefs and barbeque and wine at Flora. We work with you to come up with an event theme, do all promotion and registration and reimburse you for all your food, beverage and other associated costs. Popular classes include full-course themed meals, cooking techniques, ethnic dishes, sparkling holiday wines, mixology, and much more. We are finalizing our Oct-Dec. 2013 courses now. If interested, contact Donna Eidson, Director of Arlington Community Education atdeidson@arlington.k12.ma.us.
