GOAL Needs Volunteers - Topsfield Fair and Office
State LogoCan you help us?

Each year, GOAL is fortunate enough to be provided a booth at the Topsfield Fair. Our booth is located in the Sportsman's Building, and is provided courtesy of the Essex County League of Sportsmen.

Exposure at the Fair gives GOAL the opportunity to talk with thousands of attendees. Some are familiar with GOAL and are members. Others we talk with have no knowledge of firearms and their many purposes.

With limited office staff, GOAL depends on volunteers to help us at this Fair.

This year the Fair will be held from October 4 - October 14, open from 10am to 11pm. GOAL usually sets up four-hour shifts for volunteers. Volunteers MUST be GOAL members in good standing. If you can help us, please email Angela at  [email protected]

Final Thought: Just the Facts...
We've been running some facts on our social media this week as we are sick of seeing those who wish to infringe upon our freedom posting bogus facts.  Here's a few of the most popular.

Real facts, real statistics.

Fact: Massachusetts gun laws are unconstitutional and violate your civil rights.

Fact: Massachusetts gun laws do not improve public safety.

Fact: Since the Massachusetts legislature passed the "nation's toughest gun laws" in 1998, violent crime has risen by nearly 200%.

Fact: Since 1998, when MA passed the "nation's toughest gun laws" a majority of states have made it easier for law abiding citizens to purchase/possess/carry firearms. The result? Violent crime has dropped in those states and across the country. Yet, here in MA it continues to increase. Coincidence? We think not.
