Oklahoma Journal of Undergraduate Research: A New Statewide
Web-Based Journal
| | 2014 marks the beginning of a new statewide online journal for undergraduate research. All higher education institutions in Oklahoma are encouraged to help their undergraduate students submit articles about their research for publication. The Oklahoma Journal of Undergraduate Research, sponsored by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education for all Oklahoma higher education students, will be up in the spring of 2014. We are establishing an Advisory Council to establish processes and procedures. If you are interested in editing, we will need faculty members and students in many subject areas to serve as editors for the student journal articles. All undergraduate student researchers in public and private institutions will be eligible for publications. Oklahoma Higher Education boasts a great group of undergraduate student researchers! The online format will allow for moving charts and graphs and video inserts.
We will keep you posted on the progress of the journal and when it is up and running. We anticipate that articles may be submitted for the first review in March. Stay tuned for more information!!
