Students Participate in Care and Share Food Drive
Two food drives on campus = one cause!
#cultureofphilanthropy #spiritofthanksgiving #CareanShare #HarvestofLove

The National Honor Society food drive is here again! NHS would like to encourage students to bring in cans or other non-perishables to donate to "Care and Share Harvest of Love." These items are collected by each advisory in his/her room with bins in classrooms. The advisory who collects the greatest mass of food will receive pizza.

If you'd like to bring a monetary donation, you may do so, and checks will also be accepted as long as they are made out to "Care and Share." Please give your monetary donations to the NHS representative in each advisory. One dollar equals ten pounds of food for the organization! The competition ends just before Thanksgiving break, so please bring in your "cans"! Questions? Contact an NHS student or Ms. Johnson-Smith at ajohnsonsmith@css.org.

The second grade has also sponsored the annual Harvest of Love food drive. They've collected non-perishable food to help children in our community. Peanut butter, pastas, canned beans, canned fruits and vegetables are all in great demand. Thank you for helping us with this service project. Food can still be placed in the large boxes located in the lobbies of the Early Childhood Center (ECC) and Children's Academic Center (CAC). On Wednesday, the 2nd grade will deliver the food to Harvest of Love and tour the food bank.
