Our gregarious Chuck Kirtz stepped into the teaching role for our church family this Sunday.  He shared from his heart and from 2 Corinthians 5 about the blessing of reconciliation. 

 " For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. "   2 Corinthians 5:19  (NLT)

God was in Jesus. He is the crux of our whole faith.

This reconciliation is = bringing us from hostility to peace.  Our God works on us sort of like what Humpty Dumpty needed: When we have a great fall, God specializes in putting broken people back together again!

When we are found "in Christ," we can have great confidence-- actually ULTIMATE confidence.  Our life in Christ is not about our practice, but about our position- eternally secure in relationship with the God of the universe!

Does practice make perfect?  We hear that all over in our world.  In the world this works.  We practice to enhance our position.

But in Christ it is exactly opposite...
In Christ our position is eternally cared for!  Then our practice comes FROM our position

What now?
Go live your life... How has He gifted/made you? Live it out in Love of Jesus!

Many of us still believe that our performance is more important that the performance of Jesus on the cross!

We have the inclination to do this "in me". Rather than "in Christ". Is there any power "in me?" Not in comparison to the power of Christ!

Go LIVE your life IN CHRIST! In security of your position with HIM
