The Supreme Court and the Kingdom of God

Pastor Phil took the time Sunday to share about the recent Supreme Court decision and the Kingdom of God. He took the time to read Romans chapter 1:18-32 which is often used as a tool to bludgeon others, but pushed us back into the context where The Gospel immediately precedes this! -- "I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek..." Romans 1:16
When God is unknown, the wreck happens. People are godless, and that's the real issue. People are not the enemy either, the Supreme Court is not the enemy. There is a supernatural enemy who runs the world or the cosmos. What about JESUS? Did Jesus deal with sexual sin? Yes, He did that in some very vivid ways with the woman caught in adultery and the woman at the well. Jesus extended kindness and didn't malign the truth-- he perfectly expressed both grace and truth. Let's step into helping people meet this gracious and truthful King Jesus. We ought to redouble our efforts on sowing the Gospel...so that hearts can know His great love for all.
