How to Disarm your Doubts
We had the privilege Sunday of Dr. Brent Strawburg sharing on Disarming our Doubts.  He spent time sharing about the balance of Faith and Reason.

The role of faith:

...And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Hebrews 11:6 NIV


We know that we MUST have faith. Our spiritual relationship requires it!

The role of reason:

...Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,...

1 Peter 3:15 NIV

 

We know we must have a Rational faith. Otherwise our faith is blind, weak or timid.  If we can live in the balance of confidence in faith and confidence in reason we are a potent disciple of Jesus!
