For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don't use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." (Galatians 5:13-14 NLT) Our freedom is great, but as we can see from the passage above is that we need to use our freedom to Love!! Mind-set on the flesh is all about me! Mind-set on the Spirit is all about someone else! That is truly loving. Worrying about me is what fuels the flesh...and caring about others is what fuels love. We can freely love others because we are loved so much. Like the apostle John, who called himself by the nickname"the disciple Jesus loved," you can have your identity in relationship to Jesus. You are the disciple that Jesus loved! His special one!
