Freedom in Christ
As we've been walking through Galatians, we know that there is nothing in the Gospel about our works. We know that we can't do anything except -- accept the Good News gift that God has given.

Keeping the rules (or the Law) doesn't ingratiate us to God. He loves us fully already, and all the blessings of salvation are front-loaded!

We must live in the freedom of that understanding and thinking about the Good News and our standing with God. When we do revel in this freedom it brings a radical life!  We have nothing to prove and nothing to lose!

This was articulated so clearly in this verse:

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery               (Galatians 5:1 NIV)
