Paul is emphasizing a "do-it yourself spirituality" as a false gospel throughout the book of Galatians. Salvation is only through grace, and so is our sanctification!
Embedded in chapter 3 is a reflection on the blessing God promised to Abraham. We took time to review the episode of Isaac being put on the altar as a sacrifice by his Father Abraham (Genesis 22), and the promise God made!
What we receive from God is not through the law or through obeying it, but through God's Word and His Promise! We can't get there any other way!
"Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for The righteous shall live by faith!"
(Gal. 3:11)
