Paul in Galatians chapter 3 challenges the church:
"You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified? This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by the works ofthe Law, or byhearing with faith?Are you so foolish? Having begunby the Spirit, are you nowbeing perfected by the flesh?
Galatians 3:1-3 Paul demonstrates the superiority of faith and the Spirit over the Law! The cross of Jesus and His resurrection changed everything-- not just for the moment of salvation, but for every moment of our salvation! The Law was meant to show us we are broken, and that we needed the Messiah to care for it!! The first day we believe and every day after that! _____________________
