We got back into the 1 Corinthians series and looked at a very encouraging passage about our future...what our heavenly bodies will be like! "What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else. But God gives it a body as he has determined, and to each kind of seed he gives its own body." (1 Corinthians 15:36-38 NIV) Seeds aren't the final form. Seeds of roses don't look anything like the roses themselves! This is the same comparison that Paul is making. Our earthly bodies are just like seeds that will be transformed into something much better! "There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory. So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown a perishable body, it is raised an imperishable body." (1 Corinthians 15:41-42 NASB) Hear Pastor Phil's message online or on iTunes >>_______________________ Also you can take a listen into the sweet sounds of the flute duet by Sarah Deaton and Haley Helfer
