In our Tour of 1 Corinthians,  we continued our conversation by centering on what Gatherings in the church looked like.
One of the biggest review items (especially regarding tongues) was:
When you are in a group, what you do in the group needs to benefit the group!
In addition, Paul seems to be pointing to the participation of many in the gatherings. We don't have one person talking, and everyone listening. We see lots of participation going on!!!

Discipleship Training on 11/14-15

Host Japanese Students This Fall
Only a few students left to place! Compass USA has been bringing students from the Osaka, Japan area for the last 8 years. This year 100+ middle school students are visiting America. Their stay in the Long Beach area is from 10/30-11/3, Thurs-Mon.

CSULB visits Precious Lamb
We had a special visit from the CSULB Women's Basketball Team at Precious Lamb Preschool. The ladies and our kids had a great time playing in the sandbox, shooting baskets, and chasing each other around the playground. What an amazing group of ladies.
