SUBMITTING YOURSELF TO GOD
When we see the mess and brokenness going on in the world around us, it drives us to a place where we can't live life apart from Him.

The call is then to Submit to God!

"Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." (James 4:7-8 )

These simple statements are full of meaning and clarity about the spiritual world:

1. Recognize the devil

2. Recognize that he is against God

3. Say no, or resist him

4. The devil will not win

5. Draw near toward God and He will draw near to you

Not rocket science, but rather it is just surrendering yourself to God. To underscore this, he says it again quickly...

Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you. (James 4:10 NASB)

Put yourself before God in a position of surrender, and He will take care of the rest!

ANGEL TREE STARTS THIS SUNDAY NOVEMBER 24th
    AngelTree
Give Joy to a Prisoner's Kid this Christmas.  When mom or dad is in prison, it's the children who do hard time. But you can let them know they are not forgotten. You can give them a gift on behalf of their imprisoned parent and in the name of Jesus.

We are so glad to be a part of the Angel Tree outreach this Christmas season.  Sunday is the first one when you can select a child.  There will be a table with the children we can adopt to bless this Christmas season on behalf of their incarcerated parent.

    If you can help, contact
our church coordinator Pete Anderson by email.
