MINISTRY QUICK LINKS
SEE YOURSELF HOW GOD SEES YOU
We act in accordance with how we perceive ourselves. If we think we are funny, we laugh a lot and encourage others to laugh as well. As a parent, we step into the responsibility of being the model and the guide for our children.

The Apostle Paul wanted us to know a bit more than just how we perceive ourselves, but rather...how God sees us!

"I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know
1) the hope to which he has called you,
2) the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and 3) his incomparably great power for us who believe.
"

[Ephesians 1:18-19a]

So our HEART has eyes?  Well, yes! Our life is full of faith and the ability to "see by faith" is probably best described as our heart having eyes.

When we see with those eyes of our heart, what does Paul want us to see?

Your HOPE is in God's calling!
There are lots of other places to put your hope, but only God has real hope!

Your WORTH is that you are God's inheritance!
Your worth is actually wrapped up in being God's inheritance!
God, who could claim everything and anything in all of creation, He claims US as His inheritance!

You have RESURRECTION POWER at work in you!
We can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

What God declares is true about me! It should change the way I perceive myself. God is faithful to everything you read about in the book!! He is deeply in love with you and who you are!
