A RESOLUTION EVERYONE CAN MAKE
As we step into a new year, many make resolutions for the coming months or year.  On Sunday, Pastor Phil challenged us to set ourselves towards Jesus for the year to come.

We looked at some of Jesus' last words to His disciples and were gripped with the truth He told us "You'll do greater things than me..."

It is really hard to get our arms around that truth: there is something greater than what Jesus did that can be accomplished, and that it can be accomplished through US!.

As Jesus took on flesh, which is what Christmas is all about, He localized Himself to a human body.  But when he left this earth and sent His Spirit, He multiplied His ability to work. Now Jesus can be everywhere a Christian is!

He didn't just come to earth as a baby, live a pefect life to die and raise from the dead.  Sure He had to do all that, but even more that that, He is here! He wants to live His life through us!

When prompted by Him in the coming days to do what he asks, won't you take that step. Jesus wants to work through You!

If you are afraid of how you might look stupid, you won't learn anything. Take the step Jesus is prompting you to take. Remember that His burden is light.

When we refuse the direction of Jesus...the will of God does not get accomplished here! Let's make it our resolution to resubmit to Him everyday!

Wood Chips Work PRESCHOOL PLAYGROUND NEEDS SOME HELP SATURDAY
The wood chips arrived this week and the preschool is setting up a group of guys who can help spread them out.  We will start Saturday morning at 7am, so we can finish early.  Please email me that you can help.  Bring wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes, and brooms and your willing spirit.

Our own missionaries to the Japanese, Cecil & Debbie O'Dell, have been talking with us about bringing back an "Internationals Night" to our church family where we can encourage international students English abilities and build relationships!  If you are interested in this, please contact Mike Jentes for more info.

NEEDED SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER FOR 1ST/2ND GRADE  
Starting in February, the First & Second Grace Sunday School Class ( which meets at 9:00AM til 10:00AM) needs a Teacher.  We need to fill this spot every other month (Feb, Apr, June, Aug)...please invest in the next generation of children!
