The Last Well Child

The Healthcare Blog Entry by Lawrence Rosen, MD

"Are there "well child" codes? Yes, thankfully. But they do not pay as well per block of time as my "sick visit" codes. Not that these children are better off. In the long run, they will be subjected to more and more medical care for their asthma, diabetes, ADHD, or whatever chronic illness they develop."
