The Center for Automation Technologies and Systems (CATS) at Rensselaer and the Center for Economic Growth are jointly hosting the first annual Advanced Manufacturing Conference. The conference brings together leaders from industry, government, and academia to address the challenges facing regional manufacturers. The conference will give small, medium, and large manufacturers a strategic look at emerging ways to leverage the power of automation technologies, business best practices, and take advantage of available state and regional resources to better compete and succeed in the global marketplace.

5 RPI Student Teams Advance to States |  The New York Business Plan Competition has grown substantially over the past three years. This year, coordinators added a regional round of competition to narrow the field evenly across 10 economic development regions in the state. Those 10 smaller preliminary competitions will create a pool of 120 teams who will advance to the state finals on April 26. The event will be held at the College for Nanoscale, Science and Engineering at U. of Albany and the public is welcome to attend. |
