The First 5 Years in Startup Country: Celebrating Ecovative Design's 5th Anniversary
After five years as co-founder and CEO, Eben Bayer reflects on the company's transformation from a two person start-up to a full fledged business. Ecovative has been supported by private investment and public research grants. Today, Ecovative's sales include multiple Fortune 500 customers, delivering products supported by technology that was originally developed in part with support from Rensselaer. The company has recently licensed the packaging technology to Sealed Air in the US, and now focuses on continuing to create great materials, equipment, and technology for packaging, and other industries, like building construction and consumer goods.
